Frilliance Ingredients: What we have (and don't have)
What we have (and don’t have)
Sometimes you need to stick with what works. At other times, you’ve simply got to ignore what everyone else is doing and make better choices. That approach is exactly how Frilliance product formulas are created.
We believe the products you put on your skin should be safe—safe today and safe after using it day after day. What does that mean exactly? It simply means any Frilliance product shouldn’t be irritating or pore-clogging the first day you try it out and it should still be good for you and your skin years later after regular use. Always good, never bad.
We’ve sourced active ingredients straight from nature but have looked to chemistry. We’ve pursued scientific sources regarding cosmetic chemicals, their safety for you and your skin, to make sure you have products that are effective, gentle, and safe. We give you the best of both worlds!
Frilliance takes the job of being nice to you and your skin seriously. We are committed to quality and, well, goodness! We list all of our product ingredients clearly on each and every product. We simply tell you what the product and ingredients do and why they are good for your skin (especially teen-prone skin).
What we have
Gentle. Every one of our products aims to be gentle and kind to your skin. We use powerful yet biologically gentle ingredients, tried and true ingredients, like aloe, chamomile, rosemary, jojoba oil, sunflower oil, and more. Many of these ingredients have been used in skin care for centuries and modern science has unlocked their chemical secrets. (Frilliance also does not test our products on animals. We love animals!)
Science. We also use science-blessed, skin-supporting ingredients like glycerin, mica, dimethicone, and others. These ingredients have been shown to be safe in regular use and we have carefully chosen to include the safest ones based on our goals of effective, gentle, and safe.
What we DON'T have
There are known risky ingredients---risky for you, your general health, your skin, and questionable for long-term use. We don’t have phthalates (DEHP, BBP, DBP, DMP, DEP); PVC; formaldehyde carriers; alkylphenols; benzene; TEA (Triethanolamine); MEA (Monoethanolamine); parabens; phosphates; ceteareth 20; resorcinol; bronopol; quaternium 15; triclosan; sulfur oxides; organohalides; hexavalent chromium; DMDM hydantoin; 1,4 - dioxane; SLS/SLES (sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates); BPA (bisphenol-A); a-chlorotoluene...
This is just the short list of chemical picked from hundreds of chemicals that we’ve do not use in formulating out products. We will always strive to exclude any ingredient that is harsh or puts your health at risk.
